Heidi Jumper
Born and raised in Eastside San Jose, Heidi fell in love with the arts in elementary school during an Arts in Education Program at the San Jose Museum of Art. She believes that art brings people joy and gives communities voice and visibility through creative action.
Heidi currently serves as the Local Commons Project Associate at Local Color. Before joining Local Color, she was the Director of Marketing & Outreach at the San Benito County Arts Council, where she led strategic marketing efforts and community arts programs. Heidi also served as a Teaching Artist, leading collaborative public art projects and presenting visual art classes to at-promise and incarcerated youth. With a background in visual arts and graphic design, she has supported regional arts organizations and groups through impactful projects and initiatives including the Central Coast Creative Corps. Heidi holds an Executive Certificate in Arts & Culture Strategy from National Arts Strategies and the University of Pennsylvania.
