Women of Teal Gallery 2023

In celebration of the San Jose Sharks’ annual Women of Teal night, Local Color identified 3 local artists to showcase during the game.

These women, Arely Cardenas, Michele Cajes, and Julie Meridian, represent a diverse body of work that can be found in the SAP Center’s backyard of Downtown San Jose. With the Women of Teal initiative, the San Jose Sharks aim to not only feature the impact of women in sports, but the influence and contributions women make in everyday life. By featuring these three artists, Local Color and the Sharks hope to inspire and connect likeminded creatives in San Jose.
